Marcel Weinand holds an MSEE of the Technical University of Saarbrücken (Germany). After post-graduate studies in Information Technology, he became a systems specialist for computer communication at UNISYS, Frankfurt and Karlsruhe (Germany).
At the Federal Office for Cryptograhie in Bonn (Germany) he conducted conceptual design and development of system software for mainframe computers and operator-free data processing centres.
Since 1991 Mr. Weinand is consultant at the Federal Agency for IT Security (BSI) in Bonn (Germany) where he specialises in:
Mr. Weinand manages various projects, in particular within the Common Criteria (CC). These include a scientific development project on information flow control by means of protection profiles (PP).
