    set space operation mode

    Only associates can un/associate other users.
    closed (only associated users can view and contribute to the space)
    read-only (everyone can view the space, associates can contribute)
    open (everyone can view the space, registered users can contribute)
    totally open (everyone can view and contribute to the space)

    de/associate users

    Associates have certain administrative privileges and are always legitimated to contribute to a space. Associates can associate unassociated registered users as well as unassociate associated colleagues, which provides for a totally necessary level of sociodynamic tension.
